My future dreams and goals are simple. I don’t need much to make me happy. I know my footsteps are ordered of God and I am content with that. I am content with where I live. My home has my memories so I have no plans of selling or moving, even if it is a lot of work for me. I love country life and space, and I have that. Physically I am well. I hope to have many more years ahead of me to work and be active.

Since I didn’t start college to become a teacher until later in my life, I have no plans of retiring when most teachers retire. I plan to teach until at least my 70th birthday or longer depending on my health and life circumstances. I enjoy teaching Special Education classes. I enjoy working with children, especially teenagers at high school level.

I also plan to continue working with Jimmie to record the many songs that still need recorded. I continually write new ones too so will be working together for a long time to come. It is a passion of mine. New songs will continually be added so check my webpage often to see what is new.

I write all the time, so new poems and stories will be added to my webpage daily until my years of work is all posted, including those from the past I am still uploading for this webpage. Like I said before, writing is like breathing to me so I write all the time, everywhere I go, about all types of subjects.

These are my future plans. Someday when I get older and can no longer keep up my home and property I will move closer to Melissa for her help, but I hope that will be many years into the future. I am very independent and want to take care of myself for as long as I can. She is independent like I am. The last thing she needs is me intruding into her life and space. She is actively involved in my life and I in her life, but we both still need our space and privacy and we respect that in each other. We are only a 4 hour drive from each other, close enough for weekend visits, and far away to allow for our space. It works for us.

My future dreams are extremely simple. I want to help and bless people. I have been doing this my entire life in many different ways and I want to continue doing so into the future. I hope my words touch your heart and blesses your soul as you hear or read my writings and songs. My dream is to write about real life situations in an honest way.

Forgiveness seems to be the message God has given me to talk about. We need to forgive others and ourselves. We need to accept forgiveness from others and from God. Forgiveness is an essential quality of life that every human being needs. We cannot live healthy or happy without it.

My serenity prayer that I wrote:

God give me the ability to forgive others
To accept forgiveness from others
And to forgive myself.
